  1. my favorite title:
    the Doorsey Brothers…

  2. Glad to bring some enjoyment here and there.

  3. You are a clever lad. I quite enjoyed this.

  4. Amusing titles, but we missed the stories… I’m with Dave above – I wonder what the Door of Picturian Gray would be like…

    1. Yeah, sorry for the laziness. The Door of Picturian Gray would be something you could write.

  5. I’d like to read a story called “The Door of Picturian Gray”.

    1. You’ll probably have to write it yourself.

  6. delightful whimsical, Steve!
    have a wonderful weekend!
    groetjes, Francina

    1. Thank you. Glad to cheer!

  7. 😆 on the first one and Fyodoor!!!!!!!
Have a great weekend, Stephen! 🙂

    1. Yes. it’s the first one. You too.

  8. Dear Stephen,

“Three doors walk into a bar…” Sounds like an open and shut case to me. 😉 Cute.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  9. Three Little Pigs hid behind three coloured doors.

“Hmmm,” wondered the Big Bad Wolf. “Which door should I huff and puff down today.”

Poor Big Bad Wolf, for he was allowed only one door to huff and puff down. Will he go hungry. “Growl.” That was his stomach 🙂

    1. Hey, that’s the winning entry into the Friday Fictioneers.

  10. Silly and clever, Stephen. I like #5. The Doors according to Dorian Gray. Would the doors start to change and become disfigured? Now, I’m being silly. My second fav is #7.

About Me

Bumba’s real name is Stephen Baum, and he was born and raised in the Bronx, a product of the NYC school system. All the same, he has written two fine, literary novels – one is called Up in the Bronx, and the other is called One Life or the Lives of Chester Knowles. Check them out on Bumba Books. Also included in this blog are a number of Bumba’s original songs, plus a lot of traditi0nal country music – all played by Bumba and his friend Maybank. You’ll also find some poems, odes, stories, humorous pieces, and a lot of didactic stuff about science, especially paleontology, and numbers.Lots of stuff about numbers. Watch out.
